Imagine being the star in an adventure movie.
A producer puts together the right team and the director makes it all work on the screen.
And then the adventure continues back at Cabot Shores with Chef Carl preparing the lobster caught earlier in the morning, plank salmon cooking over an outdoor fire, a gathering of 3 generations of lobster fishermen, families and the rest of the Cabot Shores crew.
And that brings me back to you.
Here, at Cabot Shores, you are the star of your own adventure. All it takes is getting involved…and you’ll see Adventure is in the eye of the beholder–whether it’s cooking your first wood fired pizza or being up on a Yolo Board for the first time, or being a classical violinist daring to play Cape Breton tunes along with local celtic musicians or a blues band right here on our stage.
Cabot Shores provides a platform for you to “Awaken. Explore & Discover” but the adventure is up to you. And the retreat happens alongside the adventure.
As Captain Beefheart (a pre-Charley Boorman hero) said: “What the world needs is a good retreat…” and we’ve found that great guests, great guides and great adventurers make us all into stars in an adventure movie. Just like Charley and Russ, Mango and Jessel–some out front, some others like us behind, with roles changing along the journey and at the destination.
To your adventure,
Dr Paul Weinberg

The newest addition to Cabot Shores….An Outdoor Wood Fired Pizza Oven!
Construction of the outdoor oven began only a few short weeks ago and last night, Cabot Shores had its first taste of fresh wood fired pizza! Each pizza was prepared with thin crust whole wheat dough covered in a savory homemade sauce, fresh garden vegetables and flavorful cheese.
Weighing in at almost 500 lbs, the oven was constructed using firebrick, stones, clay and cement. We encourage you to join us some evening so you can try your own personal wood fired pizza prepared to your liking!
