Front Desk / guest services
Our Front Desk team is a visitors’ first point of contact to Cabot Shores! The successful candidate should be outgoing and friendly with a positive attitude and a natural talent for customer service and multitasking skills. They closely together to ensure daily operations are done smoothly. We are looking for individuals who are efficient and comfortable being a member of a team. Strong communication skills are essential to work with guests booking accommodations or arriving to the resort and also the entire Cabot Shores staff. This role also comes with the responsibility of walking guests around the resort, ensuring they find their accommodations, and helping them with small tasks such as starting fires and maintaining hot tubs.
The ability to multi-task, while maintaining and managing administrative support, is important in this position. You will be responsible for coordinating activities and helping people reach their full potential. Kitchen Staff
Our busy restaurant is looking for experienced, forward-thinking cooks and kitchen assistants who are passionate about food. The ideal candidate for this position will be a natural leader who always has a finger on the pulse of current culinary trends and comfortable working within a team to carry out the common goal. The kitchen is responsible for managing and organizing orders for dinner and breakfast, preparing meals for large groups of guests, and kitchen inventory management.

Housekeeping
We are an eco-friendly resort and use non-toxic cleaning products and detergents. We are looking for professional housekeepers able of attending to our facilities with integrity and attention to detail while being efficient. Our goal is to create a clean and pleasant environment for our guests to stay in.
Maintenance & Repair
We operate a 55-acre property with a dozen yurts, several treetop domes, four chalets, rooms in the main lodge, a campsite and a farmhouse 12km up the road which need regular maintenance. We’re looking for professionals who can take the initiative and help anticipate problems before they occur. The ideal candidate will be able to communicate effectively with vendors, visitors and anyone else he or she encounters on the job.
Volunteering
Throughout the year, we are always looking for volunteer to help us in a wide range of activities such as maintenance, hot tub, cooking, housekeeping, snow removal, serving, etc. Most of your staff / volunteers are involved in more than one activity. Let us know what your skills and interests are. This is a non-paid volunteer position; room and board and adventures/experiences are provided. In your free time paddle on our lake, swim in the lake, ocean or brook, hike, partake in or enjoy music jams, explore the island and more.
