Unique & Comfortable Lodging
Lodging is just the beginning – and we have a wide selection of unique accommodations that range from yurts and geodesic domes to lodge rooms and chalets and the tiny house.
The domes with their many windows and see-through walls are an amazing experience for stargazers and are available in the warmer months. Our Mongolian Yurts and the spacious Cedar Yurt however are also an option for winter. With the fire going in the wood stove or the heater on, our guests stay toasty no matter what. Every room in our main lodge is different, but all come with beautiful original art on the walls, cozy beds and private bathrooms. If you want to surprise a family or group of friends, the chalets can accommodate 6-9 people and come with a kitchen, 1,5 to 2 bathrooms, sitting area and private deck with a hot tub, and with a fire site for camp fires just in front.

With talented chefs on site, our Bistro offers delicious food year round! Our menu includes vegetarian dishes, local fish and seafood, and hearty chicken/meat options. Guests also love the outdoor, wood-fired pizza oven and weekly summer cookouts. Let us know of dietary restrictions and we’ll try our best to accommodate.
The Cabot Shores Bistro stands for slow-cooked, nutritious and fresh meals. Lots of greens, vegetables and herbs are sourced from our organic garden just out the door. Baked goods and pasta are made from scratch. And while our guests enjoy the flavours of their dinner, they can sip on local Big Spruce craft beer, Nova Scotian wines or homemade apple cider.

Adventures on Land & Water
Hiking, snowshoeing, boating – if your loved ones are outdoorsy, they can do all that right here or in the wilderness close-by. We offer guided hikes to less known mountain summits or hidden caves, lush forests and waterfalls.
With our selection of canoes, kayaks or stand up paddle boards, guests can explore Church Pond and Indian Brook right at the resort. They might see an eagle flying over them or find the beaver dam, stop for a swim or enjoy fall foliage from a different perspective.
Healing Arts & Retreats
We welcome guests for a number of reasons, and stress relief is at the top of the list. Other than the natural benefits of being in a pristine outdoor environment, Cabot Shores offers a number of Wellness and Healing Arts services that can be applied individually or in a group setting. Acupuncture and acupressure is among the most popular, along with complimentary morning sessions of guided meditation and Qi Gong (a practice similar to that of Tai Chi). We also offer interesting guided practices such as outdoor walking meditation, yoga and wellness retreats.
