Cabot Shores Bistro
Cabot Shores Bistro has something for everyone, located right on our property and offering a wide selection of healthy dietary options. Okay, so Black Spoon Bistro isn’t situated directly on the Cabot Trail, but this restaurant is a great stop if you’re coming from Sydney, as many of our visitors do. Gut-filling sandwiches, satisfying soups, and sophisticated seafood like mussels, salmon, and scallops are just a few items at this elegant yet inviting establishment. Their pan-fried haddock and blackened seafood medley are local favourites.
The Rusty Anchor
As the name suggests, The Rusty Anchor is a Cabot Trail restaurant specializing in seafood. This unassuming Ma and Pa eatery has served locals and visitors for over a quarter century, nestled amid Pleasant Bay on the northern reaches of Cape Breton Island. Needless to say, some of the views are breathtaking. Along with the scenic vistas, you’ll find mouthwatering oysters fresh from the ocean, jumbo shrimp, and rich lobster rolls among their award-winning offerings.
Baddeck Lobster Suppers
Just down the road, about 40 minutes from Cabot Shores, Baddeck Lobster Suppers is a seasonal seaside diner with a storied past. Today, they are known for their neighborhood-friendly atmosphere and traditional culinary techniques. At first glance, their menu may seem limited, but once you sink your teeth into their locally-fished lobster, you’ll be a lifelong fan.
