Around the Thanksgiving Holiday, the obvious question always comes up: What are we actually thankful for ?
Contemplating what we are grateful for regularly, not just around this holiday, is quite an enriching activity. It is a process of learning to see the glass of life as being half full (or full) instead of half empty.
At Cabot Shores we have many things to be grateful for: A good season – lovely guests from around the world who connected to the place and to each other and participated in many adventures; a terrific staff always ready to engage and serve; beautiful music shared on our stage; a bountiful garden harvest; the wondrous environment we live in – ever changing sky and water, the wildlife all around, clear starry nights, and magical rocks, to name a few.
In this spirit, we invite you to join us on Sunday, October 8 for our annual Thanksgiving Feast in the Cabot Shores Bistro. Bring friends and loved ones, share what you’re thankful for, participate in a guided afternoon walk on the Red Island Trail (and perhaps find the last chanterelles…..)
Share your thoughts, your songs, your music…Enjoy our Harvest Feast. Come for the day or stay over in one of our yurts, lodge rooms, or chalets.
Let us know what you are thankful for!
