The Breton Cove Farmhouse is one of Cabot Shores' Lodging partners. It is a newly renovated 1830 farmhouse off the Cabot Trail that can accommodate up to 8 people. It is the perfect jump off point for your own great treasure hunt on the Cabot Trail. Sample wild blueberries in fields with eagles flying overhead; take a path to the beach smelling fresh mint in the woods; hike down to the beach and you'll find myriad shells and rocks of many colors. About 1km further south, discover sandy beaches, caves and a fresh pond. Watch for trout at dusk. Ask for clues for treasure holes! |
| Return to the Hideaway and relax in a spacious living room with extended Douglas fir beams or in one of the 4 bedrooms (sleeping 8). Enjoy the cozy stoves in the dining and living rooms, and the deck opening of beautiful meadows... Your children will also certainly love to have their own private basketball court or to go to the ball field across the Cabot Trail; all for the young of heart and body! Enjoy a day pass at sister property Cabot Shores or an evening of entertainment and great food. Then return to Breton Cove for romance or an evening with your family. |  |

A 4 bedroom homestead open all 4 seasons, this Breton Cove house has been restored with native wood and large windows facing south and east.There are extensive fields and around 60 acres for hiking all the way down to the ocean off the Cabot Trail. It is close to Cape Smokey for winter skiing and snowboarding, and the property itself has access to areas excellent for snowshoeing and skating during winter; and mountain biking and hiking during other seasons. |
| The Breton Cove Hideaway is at civic box 43539 Cabot Trail. We are on the right side of the road, just after the Alexander Smith Community Center which is on the left going north about 23km from the Englishtown Ferry towards Ingonish. There are beautiful fields, a mountain to hike, a small pond nearby for kayaking and a series of beaches below. Come and Enjoy our miracle Hideaway! |  |
