Back to Cape Breton Island Adventure Overview

Are  you going to be one of the  400,000 +  people visiting  the Cape Breton in 2007. Over 80,000 pass Cabot Shores along the Cabot Trail.

But how many of them have an air adventure ?(besides people flying over Cape Breton to Iceland and beyond!  They don’t want any air adventures, do they?)

This Air Adventure is a leisure flight.  In fact, you have some amazing choices from one of our Adventure partners.

  1. Excursions Around The Cabot Trail
(what a different perspective than driving!)

Take an air excursion for ½ day around the trail. You’ll see it all from a different perspective, even moose walking around the Highlands, or whales and seals frolicking off the Cape Breton Coast.
  2. Nova Scotia Mainland By Air and Then Back To Cape Breton

Or take a whole day and visit the Nova Scotia mainland by air.  Visit the wine country and have a gourmet lunch.
  3. Take an Excursion to the Ann of Green Gables Prince Edward Island
    or to the
  4. Magnificent Isle de Madelaine

Alexander Bell and The Silver Dart
((The local area tradition with our Air Adventure Partner)

And, what better place to promote this passion than the land of the Silver Dart?

Baddeck, Cape Breton is where the talented Alexander Graham Bell spent summers and set up a family estate and island (which you’ll see from the air as well)

The Crown Jewel  airstrip is in the same area Alexander Graham Bell lived his dream, building and flying the Silver Dart in 1909.

Tired of heavily congested skies? Come enjoy unlimited class G airspace. Our 100-mile island has four airports and only one of them is under class E airspace.

All is well in Ottawa. Ellen is in the NWT right now helping to save the planet...

We ventured off to Isle de Madelaine because it is like the Carribean of the north. It has amzing beaches, great local food, drink, culture, artistic both musical and visual, and just simple down to earth ways of living. We enjoyed the rolling hills, recreation, cafes...while being able to relax and enjoy the islands without the husstle and bussle of the mainland.

I hope Cabot Shores has enjoyed aproperous new year and that you are already filling up for the summer.

All the best from Upper Canada.

Peace,

Dave
